Home Is Where We Gather

“Where we love is home—home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts.”
— Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr.

In 3rd grade, my parents took us on a trip across the United States, coast to coast. It was part of my father’s research journey in education. The year was 1984, my first time leaving Israel, and that experience imprinted itself on me in ways I’m still discovering.
I remember being captivated—almost in shock—by the American landscape. The architecture, the houses with their green lawns, white curtains, soft rugs, and cozy pillows—it all felt so new, so different from the home I grew up in. I couldn’t get enough.
Years later, I found myself dreaming, collecting scraps from my grandmother’s old European and American magazines, making vision boards filled with the homes and spaces that fascinated me. I didn’t fully realize it then, but I was curating memories—piecing together the warmth, beauty, and togetherness I longed to create.

Designing home décor products now feels like giving life to those dreams. It’s about that little girl, her sense of wonder, and how she carried those memories with her all these years.
Lately, as I’ve been designing new pieces, I wondered: What brings people together around the table? What sparks conversations, creates memories, and fills a space with love? I pictured tables where meals are shared, snuggles on the couch with friends, cups of tea on quiet mornings, and the simple beauty of being together.

At the same time, the devastating fires in Los Angeles have been on my mind. They remind us how fragile our physical spaces can be—and how essential it is to create not just homes but communities where love, support, and care hold us together in moments of loss and healing.
My new collection of table runners, mugs, and pillows was created with this in mind—to bring warmth, comfort, and beauty into the spaces where life happens. It humbles me to share these pieces with you, hoping they become part of your stories, where memories are gathered and love is shared.
